Significant undeveloped <br />land lies within the town boundaries. Much of it is owned by the Southern Pacific Railroad and <br />is located in the area of the existing railroad yard. Other privately owned parcels are located <br />on the hillsides above the west side of town and in platted lots throughout the town, Several <br />city-owned lots are located on the east side of the river. <br /> <br />The water main replacement and new pump station should have no significant impact to existing <br />environmental resources. The new water mains will replace existing water mains within . <br />currently developed right-of-ways. The pump station will be located on top of an existing <br />concrete clearwell and involves expansion of an existing superstructure that houses the <br />disinfection facilities for the treatment works.
