Item 5
CWCS Construction Fund Loan Application

Page 2

affect upon maintenance of fish life in the Eagle River during these critical
stages.

C. Type of Water Uses to be Served:

Service is strictly tied to those services supplied by the Town of Minturn
water system. These services primarily are residential and commercial
connections using treated water. At the present time there is no agriculture or
other raw water uses.

Eventually, as part of a multi-purpose use, the lake will be used for fish
propagation in connection with a Town park and recreation project. Those
services will not be provided until the project enters into Phase II operations.

D. Service Area Description and Map

The Minturn Water System services the entire Town of Minturn. At this
time, there is no service outside of Town except for one house and the school
property at Maloit Park. This single family connection is part of an agreement to
service an individual handicapped from hazardous materials coming from the
Eagle Mine tailings.

The service area is show on Attachment No.2, a physiographic setting of
the present system. The location of the Bolts Lake project site is shown on this
map.

A water distribution system map is show as Attachment No.3. This map
shows the pressure zones that will be in effect after completion of the on-going
water system upgrade project. It also shows the location of the Bolts Lake
Project and the line that will tie into the existing system.
