<br />this study were performed by various engineering firms for the <br />purposes of floodplain evaluation and are discussed in Section 7.0. <br /> <br />The hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the original study for <br />the City of Boulder were performed by the U . S . Army Corps of <br />Engineers (USACE), for FEMA under 7nteragency Agreement <br />No. XAA-H-15-72, Project Order Nos. 2 and 3, Amendment No.1. This <br />work was completed in October 1975. <br /> <br />Revised hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the City of Boulder <br />in the area of the confluence of Boulder and South Boulder Creeks <br />were completed in JUly 1982 by Leonard Rice Consulting Water <br />Engineers and were incorporated into this study. This is a result <br />of channelization projects on South Boulder Creek and Dry Creek in <br />the Flatiron Industrial Park area. <br /> <br />Revised hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the City of Boulder <br />for Boulder Creek were completed in January 1983 by MUller <br />Engineering Co., Inc., and were incorporated into this study. <br /> <br />Revised hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the City of Boulder <br />for Wonderland, Fourmile Canyon, Skunk Canyon, Bear Canyon, <br />Twomile, and Goose Creeks for the study reaches outlined in <br />Section 2.1 were perfo~d by MSM/SP Group, for FEMA, under <br />Contract No. EMW-C-0709. This work was completed in April 1985. <br /> <br />Revised hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the City of Boulder <br />for Sunshine Canyon, Bear Canyon, Gregory Creek, Skunk Canyon, <br />Bluebell Canyon, and Fourmile Canyon Creeks and Kings Gulch were <br />done by Greenhorne and O'Hara, Inc. (G&:O). A revised hydraulic <br />analysis for South Boulder Creek was completed in JUly 1986 by G&O, <br />and was inco~orated into this study. <br /> <br />Revised hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the City of Lafayette <br />and the Towns of Jamestown, Lyons, Nederland, and SUperior were <br />perfo~d by Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendorff, for PEMA, under <br />Contract No. H-4016. This work, which was completed in <br />Februa~ 1978, covered all significant flooding sources affecting <br />Lafayette, Jamestown, Lyons, Nederland, and Superior. <br /> <br />The hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the initial study for the <br />City of Longment were performed by Gingery Associates, Inc., for <br />FEMA, under Contract No. H-3716. That work was completed in <br />March 1976. <br /> <br />The additional hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the City of <br />Longment for the revised study were performed by Gingery <br />Associates, Inc., Simons, Lee and Associates, and Water Resources <br />Consultants, Inc., for the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />(CWCB), as reported in floodplain info~tion reports for Lefthand <br />Creek (References 1 and 2), and for Dry Creek No.1 and St. Vrain <br />Creek (References 3 and 4, respectively). <br /> <br />2 <br />
