Depletions for M&I use were distributed evenly
throughout the year. Exports from the basin for irrigation and for
M&I purposes were also included, and followed the same pattern as
was used for the within-basin depletions. The resulting monthly
distribution of the depletions was estimated as displayed in
table 5.2. The depletions are expected to increase to
4,820,000 acre-feet above Glen Canyon by the year 2010, and to
313,000 acre-feet from Glen Canyon to Hoover, for a total of
5,133,000 acre-feet.

Table 5.2.--Monthly depletions above Glen Canyon Dam

Month

Percent

Depletion
(acre-feet)

3,615,100

, 5. 3 DEPLETED MONTHLY ANTECEDENT FLOOD FLOW FOR -GLEN
CANYON

Daily data from the 100-year base snowmelt flood were summarized
by month.
