We have included a
sample Table of Contents of the Floodplain Information Report for your consideration.

If you agree to have this study performing the study, we will contact you to obtain your
recommendations for floodplain designations for your community. We will use as a basis
for our work, existing information on flood hazard areas in your community obtained
from the Colorado Water Conservation Board. Some of this information is old and may
require updating to reflect existing conditions. As needed, we will provide additional
supporting information for the data including flood peak estimates and updated mapping
of 100-year floodplains. When we contact you, we will be asking you what your
community requires for the study, including any areas you feel should be identified for
the use of your community for planning purposes. In addition, we will be asking (1) if
your community has available of recent mapping, such as GIS information or aerial
topography, which could be used for the study, and (2) if there have been recent updates
to the land use plan which should be incorporated into the Floodplain Information
Report.

We look forward to working with you on this important study for your community.
Roger Peterson from Love & Associates will be your contact with our company. Please
contact Tom Browing or us if you have any questions or concerns at this time. Thank
you.

Sincerely,

~/~~

David Love, P .E.
President
