Kay Alexander asked the Supreme Court to act on this and it may start to move now.
Apparently, no cover letter was attached to the petition explaining the issue. Thanks
to Kay for doing this.

Stay
. Dave Gehlert, Justice, promised an answer within 4-5 weeks following filing of stay.
Therefore, should see an answer by mid-April.
. David Barnhardt is willing to get things moving as well.
. It was noted that W AP A and CREDA did not get language included in paragraph 9
that they had requested. We asked that we be notified of their requests in the future.
Apparently, this was language that John McClow passed judgement on and we simply
were not are of it.

CDOW
. We need some input from Tom Nesler concerning the impact ofW AP A proposal on
trout in the Black Canyon and on endangered fish downstream of the Uncompahgre
in critical habitat. Kent and I have since followed-up with Tom and have an e-mail
on this.

USF & WS Flow Recommendations
. The previous assumptions concerning sediment transport did not accurately reflect the
research that was done.
. According to Kirk Lagorie, W AP A's consultant or Argon Laboratories, John Pitlick's
recommendations were appropriate but they were not incorporated correctly into the
first set of flow recommendations.
. It was suggested that state representatives meet and discuss this matter with Kirk
. We should call Bob Muth and see if we can have ample opportunity to review and
comment on any revised flow recommendations. We would like at least 30-days for
this review.

Federal Family
. Apparently they have a conference call every 2-3 weeks to discuss this matter.
