2. Recruitment- Train 1,250 new teachers by increasing recruitment. Use River
Watch extensive state~de educator network to aid in the recruitment of new
facilitators and teachets. Complete by July of 2008.

3. Evaluation- Comm~cate with new facilitators before, during, and after
training workshop anq provide feedback mechanisms that will be used to
establish and build up6n the existing evaluation process. Standardizing the
process will be compl~te by June 2007, and evaluations will be ongoing.

4. New Facilitator Suppdrt- Provide continuing support to new facilitators
throughout the duratidn of the grant program. Put facilitators in contact with
interested teachers; an~wer questions about the curricula, etc. Ongoing.

5. Remove Barriers to Participation- Discuss with current Project WET
teachers, facilitators, aAd others that could be interested in water education.

Determine what the b4rriers to participating are. Rectify possible barriers in
partnership with facilitfitors. This task will operate in tandem with task II.A.2.
While the task is ongo~g through the grant's duration, the identification of
barriers that can be resplved will be complete by September 2007.

B. Support existing volunte~t facilitators and teachers
1. Facilitator Support- Communicate with existing 144 facilitators by mail, e-
mail or in person abou~ program changes and updates, the latest information
and materials in the field of water resources, and provide workshop materials

and feedback mechani~ms. This task will be ongoing throughout grant
duration. '
