The north sewer line
collects water from lhe WTP, Thermo, CGH, and othen; and delivers Ihe water to the
north lift station. Wastewater from the northern portion of the City flows directly Into lhis
north sewer line. The sewer line nows along CR 14 Y, west under Highway 8510 the
north lift station, The east lift station is located on g'" Street at the northwest corner of
the Coyote Creek Gotf Course. This station pumps sewer from the Coyote Creek
developmenls and delivers the waSlewater to the north lift station before enlering the
WWTP,

The south sewer tine collects wastewater from the southern part of the City, generally
south of 9th Street. The sewer tine nows along Hwy 52 and turns north to the south lift
stallon. The south lift station is located at 9'" Street and Hwy 85.

Both stations deliver wastewater under the river to the WWTP. The WWTP has a
capaCity of 2.3 MGD with an average-day demand of 1.1 MGO. Although the sewer
system does not directly relate to the Water Conservation Plan and goals, having
perspective will assist in the overall understanding of the City's system. Currently, the
Oty is In negotiation to treat wastewater lrom a very large development outside of City
limits. Part of the agreement would be a joint expansion of the City's WWTP facilities.

('I<"r\hl<rllj~bh,ln<.
(.IL~'nlf.,," l.up'''"
2Ul~\\.lOt(",,",..'"1I,,""I.n

,
