For the benefit of those residents who have not had <br />an opportunity to attend all of the hearings or to review the <br />record that has been available in the Town offices, I thought it <br />would be beneficial to let you know about some of the questions <br />that have been raised and the answers given, based upon the <br />record of the proceedings. <br /> <br />1. Question. What benefits does Morrison obtain from this <br />annexation and zoning? <br /> <br />Answer. The Town will obtain a reservoir site with a <br />minimum storage capacity of 500 acre feet of water (an acre foot <br />equals 325,000 gallons of water) on or before July 1, 2000 and a <br />second reservoir site, capable of storing an absolute minimum of <br />1,000 acre feet of raw water, at some later time, depending upon <br />Cooley's production, but not later than the year 2040. (Draft <br />Annexation Agreement-Sections 3.0 and 4.0) <br /> <br />2. Question. Will the Town receive any other benefits <br />from the annexation? <br />
