For the benefit of those residents who have not had
an opportunity to attend all of the hearings or to review the
record that has been available in the Town offices, I thought it
would be beneficial to let you know about some of the questions
that have been raised and the answers given, based upon the
record of the proceedings.

1. Question. What benefits does Morrison obtain from this
annexation and zoning?

Answer. The Town will obtain a reservoir site with a
minimum storage capacity of 500 acre feet of water (an acre foot
equals 325,000 gallons of water) on or before July 1, 2000 and a
second reservoir site, capable of storing an absolute minimum of
1,000 acre feet of raw water, at some later time, depending upon
Cooley's production, but not later than the year 2040. (Draft
Annexation Agreement-Sections 3.0 and 4.0)

2. Question. Will the Town receive any other benefits
from the annexation?
