After completion of this task CDOW will be provided with 5 copies of; current concept
drawings, meeting minutes, conceptual level opinions of probable construction costs
(for Phases I and II) and a report on the issues and solutions identified in this task for
Phase I facilities and a listing of the considerations to be made for future expansion.

e

All team members will be involved in this effort on an as needed basis.

4) Development of Construction Documents to 30% level

This task will focus on the engineering design of the Phase I facilities At this stage of
project development the efforts will be directed towards the design and drafting of items
needed to convey the intent of the design such as materials, component sizing and
configurations of the proposed facilities.

Products delivered in this task will include half size (11" by 17") drawings (an
anticipated sheet count and makeup of the drawing submittal is shown in the fee
estimate for this task), a preliminary drainage report/plan (if required), an outline of the
technical specifications, a preliminary opinion of probable construction cost and an
Operational Considerations Report (to assist in the evaluation of the design relative to a
operation). .

The documents (5 sets) will be submitted to CDOW in advance of Task 5 which
includes a value engineering review of the systems proposed for the facility.

5) Value EnQineerinQ and Submittal Review

This task will be conducted as a two day meeting with CDOW in Denver. We would
propose that the first part of this meeting be directed towards a value engineering
review process during which each component and system presented in the 30%
submittal is analyzed relative to function, operation and construction economies. After
completing this review we would then review CDOW's comments on the 30% submittal.
We propose this approach as some of the comments received during the value
engineering process may address CDOW review comments.

Attendance will be limited to two representatives from FishPro. Comments directed
towards disciplines not represented at the meeting will be communicated by telephone
(during the meeting) to the appropriate discipline representative for resolution. The
discussions and comments made during this meeting will serve to guide the
development of the final construction documents.

-
