The final count showed 1,993 votes in favor and 913 votes against the project,
which translates to approximately 69% in favor to 31% against. The voter turnout was one of
the highest in Fort Morgan for any election as almost 60% of the eligible voters completed a
ballot.

The City feels that the success of this election shows both the commitment and desire of the
citizens to complete the C-BT water project. We will be working very diligently during the next
month with the assistance of George K. Baum and Co. to put together the complete funding
scenario which will be required to complete the project. We are looking forward to working with
you and other CWCB staff members in our effort of obtaining an additional loan from your
agency.

I will supply you with the information that you requested next week so that we are well prepared
to approach the Board with a funding request at their July meeting. If you should have any
questions, please contact me anytime.

r;4eIY,

~senach
Utility Engineer

cc: Mayor, City Council
David Yamada
Ray Sieler
Eric Jorgenson

City of Fort Morgan

710 E.
