The following are our comments with respect to each of the projects:

Larimer County

.

If the project has water quality benefits it could be eligible under our Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund. It
does not appear that the project is on the Intended Use Plan for the program so it could not be funded until 2002.
We are currently working on a storm water project for the City of Fort Collins which is on the Intended Use Plan. I
wonder if there are some overlaps in the project. Is the project sponsor the County? We could finance this
through the Small Water Resources Projects Program, but we are too far in the process for this project to fit in the
upcoming bond issue.

Town of Monument

We have previously made a loan to the Town under our Small Water Program and do not have any more capacity
under that program for the Town. The project would not be eligible under our Drinking Water Revolving Fund
program.

City of Ouray

The project would not be eligible under our funding programs.

If you have any questions about the above-listed projects, please let me know. We look forward to working with
the CWCB in the near future. .

.

Michael Brod
Finance Director

Cc:

Bill Green, CWCB /
John Van Sciver, CWCB
