There are several items, discussed below, that need to be <br />incorporated into the final study. <br /> <br />Water Rights <br /> <br />Anne Janicki, of our office, and I have discussed the February 21, 2002 letter from Alan Martellaro <br />of Water Division 5, Division of Water Resources regarding the Rice Ranch water rights, as well as <br />the response to other issues raised in our December 4, 2001 letter to you. All major water rights <br />issues have now been addressed to our satisfaction, with only the following items needing to be <br />revised or included in the final report: <br /> <br />1. Augmentation Plan (p.12) - At the end of Paragraph 6 (p.I2) please add the following <br />clarification from the CWCB Board approval conditions: "Note: CWCB loan funds will <br />not be used to finance the purchase of an interest in the plan for augmentation in Water <br />Court Case No. 97CW305, nor will the CWCB be considered to be a co-applicant in the <br />plan for augmentation." <br /> <br />2. Appendix - Add a new appendix, Appendix I - Additional Water Rights Information, <br />and include a copy of the February 21, 2002 letter from Alan Martellaro of Water <br />Division 5, as well as the letter from Vidler Water Company indicating that they are <br />allocating 5 acre-feet of storage in Dillon Reservoir for EDWD.
