Box 86 <br />Victor, CO 80860 <br /> <br />RE: EIAF #3869 - Victor Dam Repair <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Watson: <br /> <br />The state Energy and Mineral Impact Assistance Advisory Committee met recently in Cripple Creek <br />to review requests for grants and loans from state severance tax and mineral lease revenues from <br />oil, gas, carbon dioxide, coal and metals extracted in Colorado. <br /> <br />I concur with the committee's recommendation and am offering to enter into a contract for a grant <br />for 35 percent of total project costs, not to exceed $276,849. <br /> <br />Please contact Mark Lowrey at (719) 544-6577, for information on how to proceed. As you know, <br />no state funds should be obligated before a grant contract is fully executed, Expenditures made <br />prior to the contract being fully executed cannot be reimbursed by the state. <br /> <br />Again thank you for hosting a reception for the state advisory committee and arranging for the mine <br />tour.
