Reclamation, the 1957 design for the dam and appurtenant
facilities, the 1971 reservoir blanket design, a geotechnical
investigation of the embankment and foundation conducted by WCC in
1992-1993, and a feasibility study and report prepared by Woodward-
Clyde Consultants in 1993.

The geology report describing the 1940 Bureau of Reclamation
investigation is available in the files of the Office of the State
Engineer (Merriman, 1940). Information from this report has been
incorporated in the WCC geotechnical investigation report. The
only available information from the 1957 dam design and the 1971
reservoir blanket design are sets of design drawings which are also
in the files of the Office of the State Engineer (BRC, 1957 and BC,
1961) .

The geotechnical investigation performed by WCC in October
1992 (WCC, 1993) was conducted in accordance with WCC proposal No.
92D227P dated June, 1992. The 1993 investigation report and
Woodward-Clyde Consultants feasibility study are available in the
files of the CWCB.
