The Selected Project

3T Cattle plans to pursue alternative #2. Features of this
alternative are as follows:

1. Purchase up to 5 shares of the Weldon Valley Ditch Company.

2. Convert the shares to augmentation use and incorporate the
water into a court approved augmentation plan.

Water Rights

3T Cattle currently only has the water right decreed with the one
well used for the feedlot. The well can pump between 90 and 112
acre-feet of water annually for a full feedlot.

The water for purchase is decreed as
Decree Date
Weldon Valley Ditch 10/26/1881

follows:
Estimated Delivery
38 AF/share (gross)
18-20 AF/sh (consumptive)

The total estimated consumptive use delivery of all the rights is
between 90 and 100 Acre-feet. A through consumptive use analysis
will have to be performed to determine the exact usable amount
and timing for augmentation. Preliminary analysis based on gross
pumping compared to gross deliveries seems to indicate an
adequate correlation.

Cost Estimate

The estimated total project cost is $275,000.

Item

Estimated Cost

Total Cost

$ 5,000
$270,000

$275,000

1.
