The DSCD is a local <br />government entity with similar goals as NFRIA. Because NFRIA is a community driven <br />landowner coalition that represents the landowners and the community's interests in <br />restoration efforts along the North Fork of the Gunnison River they are the appropriate <br />entity to implement this project. The committee is made up of representatives of the <br />USGS, EPA, NRCS, Colorado Div of Wildlife, US Forest Service, BLM, State Soil <br />Conservation Board, Colorado Water Conservation Board, Army Corps of Engineers, <br />Bureau of Reclamation, US Park Service, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Colorado State <br />University, and others. They have proven to be extremely helpful in directing NFRIA <br />in a streamlined positive direction by pulling together existing data and resources in a <br />inter-agency collaboration <br />
