Social, Economic, and Physical Impacts: <br /> <br />The project will have no significant social impacts. <br /> <br />The project will have a positive economic impact associated <br />with assuring a supply of water for the Town's commercial <br />geothermal spas. The anticipated growth in this industry will <br />provide additional tax base for the Town. <br /> <br />The project will have no significant physical impacts, once <br />construction is complete. Other than the several low impact <br />valves and turnouts, the entire project will be buried or <br />hidden underneath the footbridge and should not be visible. <br /> <br />2. Permits Required: No permits will be required. <br /> <br />3. No EA or EIS will be required. There are no wetlands <br />along the pipeline route, and the pipeline will be on Town <br />property, or on private land. <br /> <br />4. Easements will be required across several parcels of <br />private land along the pipeline route and a condition of <br />membership in the company will be the provision of such <br />easements. <br /> <br />10 <br />
