The <br />ability to use the waters apportioned by the U.S. Supreme Court in Nebraska v. Wyoming (the <br />"Decree") is the life-blood of Jackson County. Accordingly, we oppose these filings and <br />respectfully request the Board to withdraw them from consideration. <br /> <br />Two of the proposed filings cross significant amounts of private land. Another <br />terminates at the state line. All of the proposed filings are below existing diversions where the <br />likelihood of injury is of real concern. Further, we understand these filings are based on <br />speculative comparisons with streams outside of Jackson County and even outside of Colorado. <br /> <br />We respectfully request the CWCB not to appropriate these instream flows nor others <br />that interfere with present and future water use under the Decree. <br /> <br />Thank you for your attention to this matter. <br /> <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Jackson County, Colorado <br /> <br />By: ~4~t?6~ <br />Michael A.
