water providers in Arapahoe County (East Cherry Creek Valley, and
Arapahoe County Water and Wastewater Authority), will develop the
mailing list in an Excel format allowing for the vendor to print and
adhere the mailing labels to the Xeriscape DVD packaging. Douglas
County Projects Coordinator Maureen Waller will be responsible for
completing the Task 2 activities.

Task 3 . Mass Produce the Xeriscape DVD
This task will include the production of the1 00,000 DVDs that will be
mailed to households in Douglas and Arapahoe Counties.
Specifically, the production effort will include the following:

. Print 100,000 DVD-5s with 5 color screened label;
. Assemble and stuff 100,0005/0 single disc, taped closed, wallets with fold;
. Develop the address list file set-up;
. Perform ink-jet addressing of the single disc wallets with zip+4 Encoding and bar-
coding; and
. Perform Standard A mail presorting and delivery to the USPS.

This effort is the most costly of the proposed project.

Note: only 97,900 DVDs will be mailed as part of this grant. The
2,100 additional copies of the Xeriscape DVD will be printed and
packaged for delivery to DCWRA offices in CasUe Rock, Colorado
for future use and distribution. Four hundred Xeriscape DVDs will be
provided to the CWCS Office of Water Conservation and Drought
Planning at the completion of this project. Two hundred Xeriscape
DVDs will be provided to the Colorado Foundation for Water
Education at the completion of this project. The remaining fifteen
hundred DVDs will be used at point of sale support at gardens
centers and box stores, as well as part of ongoing education and
outreach by DCWRA.

This task will be performed by the vendor selected by DCWRA. It is
estimated the vendor will require twenty-six working days to
complete this order once it is received. Mark Shively will be
responsible for communicating with the vendor on this order.

Task 4 - Mall the XerIscape DVDs

The final step in the distribution of the Xeriscape DVDs will be to
deliver the addressed and sorted print the 97,900 Xeriscape DVDs
to the United States Postal Service.
