Staff reviewed a local pn..-cipitation data set from one site located around Pueblo Reservoir (See
Precipitation Data and Map in Appendix). This data indicates that the 17 years of stream-now
data (Arkansas River at Moffat Street gage) is representative of avcrage water-years.

Existinl! Water Right Infonnation
StatThas analyzcd the water rights tabulation and consulted with thc Division Engincer's Office
(DEO) to identify potential water availability problems. Surfacc watcr diversions within this
reach of the Arkansas River are: West Pueblo Ditch, Commanche Pump Station (SCPC), Pueblo
Board Water Works Ditch, PRWW Northside Ditch, PRWW Southsidc Oitch. Harp Tailwatcr
Right and SCMWD Pump Station Nos. I and 4, According to thc DEO, there is usually
sufficient water available within this stream reach to satisfy the tl..'Commcndcd instream flow
amount. Staff believes that watcr is available for appropriation on Arkansas River bascd 00 an
