Easement Request Application
For CWCS Right-ot-Way along the South Platte River
Chatfield Downstream Channel Improvement Project

This application is for proposed projects along the South Platte River channel within the Colorado
Water Conservation Board (CWCB) owned right-of-way. Please refer to the Easement Guidelines for
the Chatfield Downstream Channel Improvement Project for specifics not requested in this application.
There are a number of steps that need to be taken by the applicant and CWCB staff in order to bring
the request to a Board Meeting for approval. The request will only be brought to the Board at a
regularly scheduled Board Meeting (meetings occur 6 times per year in January, March, May, July,
September, and November without exception). All of the conditions listed in the CWCB Easement
Guidelines and this application must be met before the request will brought by staff to the Board.
Please send a letter of intent notifying the US Army Corps of Engineers-Omaha District, Urban
Drainage and Flood Control District, South Suburban Parks and Recreation District, and the CWCB
Flood Protection Section. In addition, a site visit will need to be scheduled with a member of the .
