Please let me know if you need any additional <br />information. We greatly appreciate your consideration of our request to include <br />groundwater recharge projects as a source of water for this extremely important program. <br /> <br />Original Scope of the Proiect <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The original scope of the WAS project included investigating potential lined gravel pits <br />in the area, with the acquisition of approximately $10 million of lined space within 6-12 <br />months after funds become available. In addition, numerous senior water rights were <br />offered to Central, and it was anticipated that purchase could occur 3-6 months after <br />funds were available. This cost included a <br />perpetual easement for water storage, and also paid for the slurry bentonite lining around <br />the perimeter of the gravel pit. It also provided perpetual easements for pumping plants <br />and inlet and outlet facilities. <br /> <br />. <br />
