Historical
peak demands (of about two to four weeks in July and August) reach about 7.5 to 8.0 (mgd). The
high level of demand is primarily caused by yard and lawn irrigation. The lowest period of water
demand is experienced in the winter months when it drops to 1 to 1.5 mgd. The water volumes in
1995, as accounted for by the City's billing department, totaled 673 million gallons which
equates to approximately 56 million gallons per month or an average of 1.84 mgd.

CUSTOMER CATEGORIES

The City currently has 3,453 customers within the City limits. The City also serves customers
outside the City's corporate limits.
