e

e

The Old Guard or long-time residents in the community will be pressed
into service as Captains on The S.S. Empire. The Town is most fortunate to have
a vital and respected senior population, willing to help in this important
community effort. The Captains will set the example and help to promote the
water conservation measures on board.

~ sailing schedule

It is anticipated that the initial activities of the project, public awareness,
education and information, audits, plumbing improvement, insulation, and data
gathering, will be put into place within twelve months of. the project's starting
date. The educational, informational and reporting components of the project
will be ongoing.

Commercial meter installation and improvements to the Town's facilities
will be undertaken simultaneously and completed within twelve months. It is
intended that metering of all water taps in the community will be accomplished
during the first year as well.

9
