The
garden has enjoyed good publicity thus far including articles in
the following publications:
-Canyon Courier
-Upbeat Newspaper (mountain area volunteer publication)
-Xeriscape Colorado/article by Ken Ball
-Submission for design award from Jefferson County
-Brook Forest Publishing (article yet to come)

BENEFITS

Our goal is to educate and demonstrate to the community
landscapes that will survive and thrive in our semi-arid mountain
region in spite of our difficult growing conditions and continual
challenges with our native wildlife.

TIME TO COMPLETE

This is an on-going project with the first Phase completed in the
Fall of 1996. The work proposed in this grant would be Phase II
and would be completed by the Spring of 1998.
