Attachment A Castle Pines North Metropolitan District Water Conservation Plan Scope of Work February 2006 This scope of work (Scope) describes the work to be performed by Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (Contractor) for Castle Pines North Metropolitan District (District) to apply for a Water Conservation Planning grant from the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) for developing a Water Conservation Plan (Plan), and to develop the Plan in accordance with CWCB guidance. This scope of work has been developed to reflect the recently revised CWCB guidance and policies for development of Water Conservation Plans, representing a significant increase in the level of effort needed to prepare such a plan as compared to previous CWCB requirements. Because these requirements are relatively new, it is anticipated that CWCB may wish to use the District's resulting Plan as a model for development of water conservation plans by other districts and utilities. The Scope includes the following tasks, each of which is described in detail below. > Task 1 - Prepare Grant Application > Task 2 - Develop Water Conservation Plan > Task 3 - Public Outreach > Task 4 - Project Management and Grant-Related Administration Task 1 - Prepare Grant Application Purpose This task involves developing a grant application required by CWCB for those seeking grant funding for the development of a Water Conservation Plan. Approach Task 1.1 Prepare Grant Application Contractor will develop a grant application in accordance with the requirements outlined under Section 37-60-126 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. This includes reporting of population and water supply/demand data, development of a work plan, development of a budget cost estimate, and a cover letter for District signature.
