The pipeline, which was built about fifty years ago, is operating at <br />capacity and is in very poor condition. The project will consist of the installation of about 4.2 miles of 12- <br />inch diameter pipe in the Cottonwood Creek drainage about five miles southeast of Palisade. The Town's <br />original (1994) authorization for this project was $750,000. Completion of the feasibility study in <br />November 1997 indicated a higher cost than originally expected and resulted in a request by the Town for <br />an additional $172,000 for a total requested authorization of$922,000 or about 75 percent of total project <br />costs. <br /> <br /> <br />Location Map <br />
