The main <br />irrigation service area is south of Canon City in Fremont County where the Company supplies water for <br />small farms and rural domestic water supply. The dam, which was originally constructed in about 1903, <br />is a concrete masonry structure which exhibits considerable deterioration of the concrete in the top 12 feet <br />of the dam crest. The project involves the replacement of the entire upper 12 feet of the dam. The project <br />does not involve any enlargement of the reservoir which has a capacity of 4,000 acre-feet.
