The loan is for rehabilitation of check structures on the Larimer <br />and Weld Ditch. <br /> <br />The Board approved a Small Project Loan from the Construction Fund in a maximum amount of <br />S1.000,CXXl The loan terms are 2.75% for 30 years. I have attached a copy of the updated Board <br />memo concerning the Larimer and Weld Irrigation Company. Please refer to page 5 of that memo and <br />to the section "Action taken by the CWCB on July 24, 2002." <br /> <br />When the Board approves a Small Project Loan there remain several conditions: <br /> <br />a) A Feasibilitv Study is required. Bruce Johnson ha<; reviewed the study titled <br />"Feasibility Study for Rehabilitarion of Larimer and Weld Cheek Slmetures" by Duane <br />Smith of Smith Geotechnical. The report, in combination with the CWCB board memo <br />dated July 12. 2002, meets the requirements of the CWeB Construction Fund <br />Guidelines for feasibility studies. No further action is required on your pan. <br /> <br />b) An approved contract must be in place before funds can be advanced. Jan lllian has <br />placed this project on our contracting "hot list"" and has initiated the loan contracting <br />process. I understand that the project ....'11 stan consuuction on or about September 1, <br />2002. and that the Company ",ill need funds to pay contractor bills on or about October <br />1. 2002.
