<br />54 Fed. ReR. 43627, October 26, 1989. <br />BLM published a notice amending the previous Final Wilderness Inventory <br />Decision for the Redcloud Peak Wilderness Study Area (CO-030-208) as announced <br />by publication in the Federal Register on November 14, 1980 and January 5, 1981. <br />The amended decision is to adjust the boundary to exclude a road and two houses <br />that are located within the existing boundary and were inadvertently included <br />within the wilderness study area boundary during the inventory in the late 1970's. <br />This decision will become effective 30 days from the date of this announcement in <br />the Federal Register. <br /> <br />54 Fed. ReR. 43869, October 27, 1989. <br />BLM announced the availability of the draft Resource Management Plan/Environ- <br />mental Impact Statement (RMP/EIS) for the Dixie Resource Area, Cedar City District, <br />Washington County, Utah. The RMP/EIS presents three alternative land use plans <br />for management of approximately 628,000 acres of publi~ land i.n Washington County, <br />Utah. To be considered in the final RMP/EIS, comments must be received in the <br />Dixie Resource Area office within 90 days after publication of the Environmental <br />Protection Agency's notice in the Federal Register. <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation <br /> <br />54 Fed. ReR. 43870. October 27. 1989. <br />The Bureau gave notice of its intent to prepare a draft environmental impact <br />statement (DEIS) to analyze the existing operating criteria of Glen Canyon Dam, <br />Arizona, Colorado River Storage Project, and to develop a set of environmental <br />criteria that will be used by the Department of the Interior during the develop- <br />ment of the Annual Operating Plan for the operation of Glen Canyon Dam. The <br />DEIS will present an analysis of the impacts of various alternative management <br />practices, including existing ones, as affected by changes in the operating <br />criteria for Glen Canyon Dam. Reclamation will conduct scoping meetings in several <br />locations to obtain information on which to base management options to be analyzed <br />in the NEPA process; the formal public involvement process and scoping efforts will <br />begin in January of 1990. The DEIS is expected to be completed and available for <br />review and comment by the end of 1991. <br /> <br />54 Fed. ReR. 43994, October 30. 1989. <br />The Bureau provided a tabulation of all proposed contractual actions in <br />each of the five Reclamation regions. including 14 proposed actions in the Upptr <br />Colorado Region. Each proposed action listed is, or is expected to be. in some <br />stage of the contract negotiation process during October, November. or December <br />of 1989. <br /> <br />Environmental Protection ARency <br /> <br />54 Fed. ReR. 41340, October 6. 1989. <br />EPA announced the availability of its comments on the Bureau of Reclamation's <br />final EIS on the Ruedi Reservoir Round II Water Sale Marketing Program.
