Their charge included an analysis of the <br />AWR Olarter and Articles, organizational structure for upgrading, water <br />assessrrent and appraisal program develolID'2Ilt and coordination of research <br />and operation and mai..ntenance. The Coornittee was .directed to report to <br />the Main Carmittee at the 97th Meeting, October 2G-2l, 1976, in <br />Wichita, Kansas. The Camri.ttee was not discharged but continued to develop <br />organizational strategy if the WRC program becares finn. <br /> <br />CCMPREHENS IVE PlANNING CCM1ITIEE <br /> <br />The Canprehensive Plaming Cannittee which was fonnalized frcm the Ad Hoc <br />1975 Water Assessrrent Camri.ttee was charged with ccmpletion of the 1975 <br />Water Assessrrent for the Arkansas-whi te-Red Regiori as specified in the <br />Nararandum of Agreenent with the Water Resources Council. The Ccmnittee <br />was also charged with review of the Water for Energy report to be <br />developed by the WRC for which $2300 was provided as specified by a <br />furarandum of Agreenent. The Cannittee was given authority by the <br />Main Coomittee to cons\.llml1lte teclmical reports and finalize and submit to the <br />WRC comments on assessment reports. Highly controversial issues would <br />be referred to the Main Cannittee at the discretion of the chainnan or as <br />directed by a najority of the Standing Coomittee. <br /> <br />22 <br />
