Measures Used to Meet Public Participation Requirements <br /> <br />a. public response to program <br /> <br />b, public perceptions of existing and past conditions which caused the res- <br />ervoi r degradation <br /> <br />c. responses to any significant comments <br /> <br />d, involvement of special interest groups or organizations <br /> <br />e. involvement of task force <br /> <br />SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRES <br /> <br />A survey questionnaire format will be used as a part of the public participation <br />program for the Bear Creek reservoir and watershed CLP study. Two types of <br />surveys will be made: <br /> <br />1. user questionnaires, these questionnaires require participants to fill-in an- <br />swers and either return by mail or drop-off completed surveys at designated <br />locations; <br /> <br />2. personal interviews, these will be administered to random users. <br /> <br />User questionnaires will be targeted towards residents within the Bear Creek <br />Basin and seasonal visitors to Bear Creek Park. Personal interviews will be <br />administered to random park users at the reservoir and within the watershed. <br /> <br />The reservoir users questionnaire will be designed to provide information prima- <br />rily about Bear Creek Park: <br /> <br />1. historical uses at Bear Creek Park and within the watershed; <br /> <br />2. current uses at Bear Creek Park; <br /> <br />3. observed biological resou rces; <br /> <br />4, previously identified conditions at Bear Creek Park; <br /> <br />5, currently observed conditions at Bear Creek Park. <br /> <br />Completed reservoir questionnaires will be either deposited at convenient drop-off <br />boxes located in Bear Creek Park or returned by mail to DRCOG. Approximately <br />1,000 survey forms will be distributed at the Park. <br /> <br />5 <br />
