<br />" <br />., <br /> <br />Among the Federally installed reservoirs In the region and other public <br /> <br />recreation lakes, DRCOG and the State have identified Bear Creek Reservoir <br /> <br />as the number one priority for section 314 funding, This prioritization is <br /> <br />based on: 1. the potential for high eutrophication based on measured data, <br /> <br />2, limited quantity of data due to the young age of the reservoir, 3. the <br /> <br />potential for high recreational use, 4. potential to urbanize areas sur- <br /> <br />rounding the reservoir, and 5. local committment to lake protection. <br /> <br />This application follows the format and provides information as outlined <br /> <br />in the Certified Federal Register Volume 45, No. 25, Tuesday, February 5, <br /> <br />1980, under "Cooperative Agreements for Protecting and Restoring Publically <br /> <br />Owned Freshwater Lakes", as amended by the Water Quality Act, October, <br /> <br />1986. <br /> <br />3 <br />
