<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(q) "Federal Establishments' PPR" means perfected rights for <br />Federal entities as defined by Article II (D) of the Decree. <br /> <br />(r) "Floodplain" generally means the alluvium that extends <br />laterally from the water surface of the Colorado River to the toe of the <br />adjacent terraces. specific boundaries of the floodplain are defined by <br />the regulatory surface mape. <br /> <br />(s) "Limitrophe section" means that portion of the Colorado River <br />between the Northerly International Boundary and the Southerly <br /> <br />International Boundary which delineates the border between the United <br /> <br />States and Mexico. <br /> <br />(t) "Lower Basin states" means the States of Arizona, California, <br /> <br />and Nevada. <br /> <br />(u) "Lower Colorado River Basin" or "Lower Basin" means those <br /> <br />parts of the States of Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah <br /> <br />within and from which waters naturally drain into the Colorado River <br /> <br />below Lee Ferry and also parts of those States located outside the <br /> <br />drainage area which are or shall hereafter be beneficially served by <br /> <br />waters diverted from the Colorado River below Lee Ferry. The term <br /> <br />"Lower Basin" as thus defined is different from the term "Lower Basin <br /> <br />States." <br /> <br />(v) "Kain stem" means the main channel of the Colorado River <br /> <br />exclusive of tributaries. <br /> <br />(w) "Mainstream" means the main stem of the Colorado River <br /> <br />downstream from Lee Ferry within the United States, including the <br /> <br />(IJ <br />,.!) <br />;: ,"""" <br /> <br />reservoirs thereon and the regulatory surface. <br /> <br />7 <br />
