The average CRSP power generation of 6 billion kilowatt hours annually is
dedicated first to project pumping and other project use purposes. Remaining
project power is distributed over a high voltage transmission system totaling 1,330
miles to key load points in the marketing area and sold commercially to preference
customers. The market area for this power spans over three Service regions (the
Upper and Lower Colorado, and the Lower Missouri), and includes a northern
division comprised of the states of Coiorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming, and
a southern division comprised of Arizona and parts of Nevada and California.

Following are the presently installed hydroelectric nameplate generating capaci-

ties:

CRSP
Glen Canyon Power Plant
Flaming Gorge Power Plant
Curecanti Unit - Blue Mesa Power Plant
Curecanti Unit - Morrow,Point Power Plant
Curecanti Unit - Crystal Power Plant
Subtotal

Megawatts (MW)
950
108
60
120
28
1,266

Participating Projects
Seedskadee Project - Fontenelle Power Plant
Grand Total

10
1,276

Future power developments planned are the 23 MW plant of the Navajo Indian

Irrigation participating project and three potential plants of the Central Utah

participating project which are expected to have 133.5 MW of capacity.
