Interested Federal and State agencies were consulted fre- <br /> <br />quently for exchange of data during the preparation of the report. TIle <br /> <br />Bureau of Reclamation made extensive investigations and studies of the <br /> <br />irrigation aspects of plans considered for this report. The results of <br /> <br />these investigations by the Bureau of Reclamation are presented in <br /> <br />"Irrigation Report," appendix D to this report. A, public hearing, <br /> <br />several conferences, and public meetings were held with large groups of <br /> <br />local interests, and with representatives of the city and county. <br /> <br />These meetings are discussed in the section of this repdrt entitled <br /> <br />"Improvements Desired by Local Interests." <br /> <br />11.
