<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />.;.": <br /> <br />w <br />~ <br />N <br />w.4 <br /> <br />January 9: In the morning I addressed a meeting of the State Librarians to discuss <br />reports prepared and distributed by the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy <br />District. Present at this meeting were Librarians from throughout Colorado, and <br />I was afforded the opportunity to discuss the preparation of brochures, minutes, <br />financial statements. Manager1s reports and Committee minutes. <br /> <br />In the afternoon I joined Director Frank Milenski in attending the two day meeting of <br />the Four States Irrigation Council at the Bureau of Reclamation Headquarters in <br />Denver. This was a inost enlightening meeting, with excellent papers presented on <br />water, and irrigation programs. I had the opportunity to become acquainted with <br />water and irrigation Officials from the Four States involved, namely: Colorado, <br />Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas, and to learn of the similar programs and problems <br />which face Conservancy Districts and other similar Agencies in the Four States. <br /> <br />That evening I was privileged to join with Officials from the Denver Chamber of Com- <br />merce at the Annual Stockman's Ball, and was afforded the opportunity to discuss the <br />Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District with Business, Industrial, Civic <br />and Professional leaders, as well as members of the Colorado Legislature who were <br />guests. <br /> <br />January 10: Attended the second day of the Four States Irrigation Council meeting in <br />Denver, during which time our Director, Frank Milenski, of La Junta, was elected <br />as Colorado's Director on the Four States Irrigation Council. <br /> <br />R espectfutly,. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />c~omson <br />General Manager <br /> <br />CLTlmb <br />
