A special Tdriphbnic Meeting was held in accordance <br />with Article IV, 3B of the by-laws, for the purpose of declaring-storage <br />in John Martin Re.sc;rvoir. The result of this meeting wa.s to d~dare <br />water availc:(b)c for storage. The gates were cJose9 at 8:45 a.m. on <br />July 25, an!=i .st'orage began.. Snyder. <br />I.... <br />(e) A special Telephonic lVIcetmg was held on July 26, 1962, as <br />provided in Article IV, 3B. of the by-laws of the 'Administration for <br />the purpose of declaring the reservoir empty. The reservoir was declared <br />at. this meeting to become empty on July 16, 1962. ~he State Engineer <br />..ya5 noti~ed that commencing on.this"qate, unless a change of conditioI?-s <br />ju~tify cancellation or modificati~n -of"this notice, he is required undcr <br />terms of the Compact to administer thc rights of water users in Colo' <br />rado in the manner. and for :1' rcriod of time as sd forth in Article V, F <br />Of the Compact. <br /> <br />The time was later extended tu Aug. 5th and again to August 15. <br />Then, on August 9 the time .W!lS advanced to August 11. The State <br />Engineer was notified of all' changes as was the Division Engineer Mr. <br />F: C. Snyder. The reservoir' was declared empty at 2 a.m. on August 11. <br />The State Engineer was notified as \\'as Mr. F. C.
