<br />Chapter 1 - Gather Existing Information <br /> <br />report. Many studies used the same site for collection of water quality <br />data. In these cases same or similar sites have been identified. STORET <br />sites have also been listed by stream. However, in many cases it is difficult <br />to identify the actual site by reading the name, therefore the station number <br />and agency code are given to assist in locating those sites for future <br />reference. Many of the STORET sites, particularly on the Slate River, relate <br />to a one day sampling effort. Apparently, many of these sites were not <br />sampled again. <br /> <br />Finally, a literature cited section if included in the report. The studies listed <br />in this section are those that pertain to the East and Slate River drainage. <br />Each Is numbered and those numbers are used to refer to specific studies in <br />other sections of the report. <br /> <br />One additional report containing recent data from the Mount Emmons <br />Project is unavailable at this time. This is NPDES permit data for the Project <br />covering the time period from 1981 to the present which is unavailable until <br />it becomes public record. <br /> <br />The following are study summaries provided in the report prepared by Lynn <br />Cudlip.
