Assisting Agencies <br /> <br />(1) The States will take primary responsibility for the presen" <br />" tation of needs for domestic and industrial water supply, and the Federal <br />Agencies will assist in an appropriate manner: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(a) The Federal Security Agency (USPHS) will co-ordinate <br />the States' presentations of municipal and industrial usee (Items a(la) <br />and a(lb) above) <br /> <br />(b) The Federal Security Agency (USPHS) will formulate, <br />for group consideration, an estimate of future need for municipal and <br />industrial uses (Items a(2a) and a(2c) above) <br /> <br />(c) The Department of Agriculture will estimate non- <br />municipal domestic future need (Items a(lc) and a(2b) above) <br /> <br />(d) The Department of Interior (USGS) will assist the <br />e/ States in presenting suitable sources of water. <br /> <br />(2) Detailed studies involved in multiple-purpose projects <br />will be performed by the agency having the dominant interest in the <br />project. <br /> <br />d.
