Statement: Investigation of this subject will consist of the <br />following steps for each area where a drainage problem is considered: <br /> <br />(1) Determine the drainage history of the area. <br /> <br />(2) Determine the most likelY use of the area under improved <br />conditions and its adaptability to improved drainage. <br /> <br />(3) Determine the least costly method of providing adequate <br />drainage and select the project. <br /> <br />(4) Carry through the econemic studies as described under Cost- <br />Benefit Studies. <br /> <br />b.
