Colorado, <br />and San Juan County. New Mexico, by having beneficial influences on jobs, <br />agriculture and recreation. During the peak year of construction. 1993, the <br />population 1nflux 1nto' the project area will total approximately 3.730 <br />persons. The jobs associated witb construction will total approximately 1.150. <br />. <br /> <br />According to a Recl&mation analysis done in 1979, o~ completion of t~e p~o~ect <br />a total of about 180 jobs will be created in both agriculture and related <br />businesses, iD~luding almost 70 new on-farm jobs in the two counties. with <br />total wages estimated at over $400,000 annually.
