Unless provision is made pursuant to D and E below, the diversion <br /> <br />of underground water from aquifers hydraulically connected to surface streams <br /> <br />will be limited to the following schedule t.o provide for a reasonable lessening <br />of material injury to senior surface appropriators. <br /> <br />1. During calendar year 1976 pumping will be allowed on <br />Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. <br /> <br />2. During calendar year 1977 pumping "wili be allowed on <br />Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. <br /> <br />3. During calendar year 1978 pumping will be allowed on <br />Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. <br />4. During calendar year 1979 pumping will be allowed on <br />Monday and Tuesday. <br />5. During calendar year 1980 pumping will be allowed on <br />Monday only. <br />6. During calendar year 1981 and thereafter, pumping will <br />be totally curtailed. <br />This schedule shall apply to all uses of underground water, except <br />those exempted in Section 37-92-602, CRS 1973. Water rights deriving their <br />supply from drains or any structure or device used for the purpose or with the <br />effect of obtaining underground water for beneficial use from an aquifer <br />are considered to be in the same category as diversion of underground water <br />by wells and are subject to the provisions of this section. Upon approval of <br />a written plan, the Division Engineer shall administer this curtailment <br />schedule so that an underground water appropriator may have a cycle of operation <br />to make more efficient use of the water available; provided, that senior <br />
