In the event of unusual hydrologic or climatic conditions, limited <br />diversions during the above months may be permitted by the Division Engineer <br />on a case by case basis. <br /> <br />E. The 10,000 acre-foot credit established in Article III of the <br /> <br />Compact for credit to Colorado shall be allocated to the Conejos River and Rio <br /> <br />Grande systems on the same percentage that each ri ver system's deli very requi re- <br /> <br />ment (as determined by Article III of the Compact) to said Compact bears to the <br />.sum of such requirements. The required delivery by the Conejos River system <br />at the mouths near Los Sauces shall be reduced by that portion of the 10,000 <br />acre-foot credit allocable to the Conejos River and the required delivery by <br />the Rio Grande system at the gaging station near Lobatos shall be reduced <br /> <br />by that portion of the 10,000 acre-foot credit allocable to the Rio Grande. <br /> <br />.F. If, because of unusual hydrologic or climatic conditions which may <br /> <br />occur in a particular year, either the Conejos River system.or the Rio Grande <br /> <br />system appears to be unavoidably exceeding its required delivery to the Compact <br />as defined in the respective tables in Article III of the Compact, the State <br />Engineer may elect to credit any over-delivery at the gaging station on the <br />Rio Grande near Lobatos. <br /> <br />G. Streams in the Rio Grande Basin which are found by the State Engineer <br /> <br />to be non-tributary either on the surface or underground to either the Conejos <br /> <br />River or to the Rio Grande shall be administered in the priority system under <br />separate priority tabulations and shall not be required to provide water to <br />meet Compact commitments. <br />H. In order to maximize the amount of water available for use by Colorado <br />appropriators and still meet the requirements of the Compact, the State Engineer <br />may authorize pre-compact reservoirs to store water which otherwise would <br />have been delivered for credit at the gaging station on the Rio Grande near <br />Lobatos; provided, that such water will remain in storage under administrative <br />
