Those losses would be in addition to the
38 percent losses that would occur in the distrihution systems.

Irrigation water will be delivered at the outlet works of
Narrows Dam. Therefore payment capacity estimates, which are
based on water supplied at the farm, must be adjusted to reflect
system 1.osses. In previous analyses, this adjustment reflected the
38 percent distribution system loss. As a result of the above
agreements, the payment capacity at Narrows Dam has been readjusted
to reflect the 15 percent river loss as well as the 38 percent
distribution system loss, The following tabulation derives the
payment capacity and recommended water charges at Narrows Dam.

Derivation of Payment Capacity
at Narrows Dam
(per acre foot)

1973
DPR

At the farm
Adjusted for 38% loss
Adjusted for 15~ river loss
Recommended water charge
Less annual OM&P costs
Available for repayment of
construction obligation

$11. 42
7.09
6.03
4.57
-0.17

$ 4.40

The repayment of most of the costs allocated to irrigation
will be the responsibility of the Lower South Platte Water Con-
servancy District and the Central Colorado Water Conservancy
District_ Contract negotiations were~ased on the recommended
water charges which would total $525,000 annually (19,400 acre
feet x $4.40) and would be applied to the construc~t6noh1igation
allocated to irrifation after deductions for estimated O~&R
costs.
