It was <br />determined that the CADSWES technology was not <br />sufficiently advanced at that time. <br /> <br />USBR inquiries about Division of Water Resources <br />support for River Basin Models in the Gunnison. <br />Prior to this there had been some general talk but <br />there is no record of anything really concrete <br />developing. <br /> <br />Keith Kepler, State Engineer's Office, sends letter <br />to Ron Johnston, USBR indicating a sincere interest <br />in developing some River Basin Models of the <br />Gunnison. <br /> <br />USBR prepares a draft study proposal for <br />distribution to potential sponsors. <br /> <br />Keith Kepler, State Engineer's Office, sends Eric <br />Kuhn, CRWCD, a letter supporting the modelling <br />effort as described. <br /> <br />First meeting of the project sponsors held to <br />develop a Memorandum of Understanding on how <br />to proceed with project and outlining funding <br />sources. <br /> <br />Colorado Water ConserVation, Board~' Meeting; <br />Board approved conceptually the modelling ef(orts. <br />and reco!llillended that 0 the state'~ .
