Jencsok <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Randy Seaholm')r~ <br />~ <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />November 5, 1992 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Gunnison River Basin Planning and Accounting Models Compatibility <br />With Colorado River Decision Support System <br /> <br />In your memorandum to me dated October 7, 1992 you expressed concern <br />about the possible lack of compatibility between the Gunnison Planning Model and <br />the Colorado River Decision Support System (CRDSS) and asked that the Gunnison <br />River Basin Water Management and Planning Project Sponsor's Committee (Sponsor's <br />Committee) address this issue from their perspective, I shared a copy of your <br />memorandum with the Sponsor's Committee at our October 8, 1992 meeting. <br /> <br />The Sponsor's Committee, which includes representatives from the U.S. Bureau <br />of Reclamation, Colorado State Engineers Office, Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board, Colorado River Water Conservation District, Upper Gunnison River Water <br />Conservancy District, Uncompahgre Valley Water Users Association and the Tri- <br />County Water Conservancy District, has asked that in response I first emphasize the <br />excellent communi~ations which have developed among the Sponsoring "Agencies . <br />,,~,i' through these modelling efforts and the open and honest discussion of complex water <br />'.',:~ . right administration issues.
