Smith, Staff Engineer <br /> <br />Mr. Smith graduated fram the University of Califo~ia in 1949 <br /> <br /> <br />with a bachelors degree in Civil Enginee=ing. P=ior to joining che <br /> <br />Council scaff in 1981 he was continuously employed as a professional <br /> <br /> <br />engineer in water supply projects, same of which dealt with Indian <br /> <br />wate= maccers. As part of :~at experience, ~I. Smith was for twenty <br /> <br />years the General t1anager and Chief Engineer of IJater Dis :ricts in <br /> <br />Califo~ia. As Staff Engineer he has participated in che evaluation <br /> <br />of Indian water resources developmenc, water for energy, :oss or <br /> <br />agricultural land and other investigations. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
