<br />The tunnel will be concrete lined where needed to maintain a stable
<br />
<br />structure. This is to be consistent with the objective of Union Park
<br />
<br />project in providing long-term storage from which water can reliably
<br />
<br />be transported to the areas of use at all times. The aqueduct will
<br />be equipped to drain all water during extended periods when it is
<br />
<br />not carrying water.

<br />Figure /1-2 shows the approximate location and alignment of the
<br />subject aqueduct. The aqueduct route will be generally easterly
<br />through Gunnison County and northeasterly through Chaffee County and
<br />into Park County. It will pass through the following Sections:
